On november 8th 2019 the renowned steam engine the 'flying scotsman' ploughed its way through colwyn bay on its way from london to holyhead. . . This is the brief sound of it passing by. . . In my opinion, the welded rail tends to diminish the dramatic effect. . . In fact, i was surprised at how quiet the engine itself was. . .

This is a startup of small mini gauge steam engine railway at dargiling (w. B. India). Recodrd standing on platform andengigne pass by at distance, little sound of peoples on platform.

This is the 218-locomotiv. You can hear how its connected to a train, then 2 engines are started afterwards. The first engine is quite cold. Recorded with sony mz710 minidisk recorder and a sony ecm907 microphone.

Steam whistle at the barncroft mill engine in lancashire. Ambient escaping steam sound from a vent between blasts of whistle. Whistle was sounded once. Edited to give four blasts. Audio taken from a video camera recording.

A short "failure"-fanfare i made for my game. Created using a trumpet instrument in fl studio.

This is a simple sound which can be used for wrong actions or to show failure. Might be used for games or apps in general. The sound was created using the program tuxguitar v1. 2. You do not have to give me credit of any kind. I think of this work as a simple but important contribution to the community. It´s a little swoosh created with audacity. White swoosh. Like in tv-shows. Maybe it can be used in horror-things.
